Notes on CANCELLARIIDAE (MOLLUSCA: GASTROPODA) - II

Abstract

This is the second of a series of papers dealing with various aspects of the gastropod family Cancellariidae (Volutacea). In this paper one new genus is described, together with two new species from the Tertiary of southeastern United States and two new species of Recent Cancellariidae from the Galapagos Islands. In addition, new names proposed for two previously described species, one from off the Cape of Good Hope, and the other from Kerguelen Island, southern Indian Ocean
