Gulf Coastal Plain Pitted Miliolacea and Related Species in Grignon and Damery, France

Abstract

Ten species of pitted Miliolacea from Gignon and Damert, France, are descried and illustrated. These forms provide a model to which species from the Gulf Coast Plain can be compared. Twenty-four related species of foraminifera from the Gulf Coastal Plain are listed in Table I: fifteen of these are illustrated herein. The remaining nine species were described and illustrated by Andersen in 1984.
