Abstract
This Comment examines the Silver Notice in its initial stage of development, considering the former mechanism for transnational asset recovery, addressing the Notice’s potential implications for the member countries involved and the criminal enterprises it seeks to address, evaluating potential human rights concerns and other policy implications, and the necessity of such a notice in the current global legal framework. Furthermore, this Comment provides a comparative analysis of Interpol’s Notice scheme, primarily focusing on the Silver Notice and Interpol’s controversial Red Notice.
