Author Guidelines

TechnoCommonality

Author Guidelines:

Submitted manuscripts should be works of original, cross-disciplinary research concerning the intersection of information technology and philosophy, law, public policy, economics, or culture and society. Since TechnoCommonality is an interdisciplinary journal, articles should be written with non-specialists in mind. Accepted manuscripts will demonstrate novelty in perspective, analysis, or criticism, and of broad interest to researchers working on issues affected by emerging and disruptive technologies.

Manuscript Preparation

Manuscripts should be prepared for blind review, with all references to the author or authors removed. A cover sheet including the abstract and identifying information should be uploaded separately.

Submissions should include an abstract of 150 words.

List of figures should appear at the beginning of the manuscript. Figures should be numbered using Arabic numerals in order of appearance in the text .

Explanatory notes may be used and should be placed at the end of the manuscript.

A reference list should appear at the end of the manuscript. References should conform to the numbered citation style, with references listed and numbered in order of appearance in the text. In-text citations should take the form of the reference number in brackets.

Manuscripts may be submitted in .doc, .rtf, .odt. .docx, .tex, or .pdf format. We will also provide templates for LaTeX and LyX.

We are unable to ensure timely review of submissions exceeding 15,000 words in length, excluding notes.
